Company History

Porsche Albania is part of the Austrian Porsche Holding Salzburg, one of the largest groups in the automotive industry in Europe. Porsche Holding Salzburg is now 100% owned by Volkswagen Group. Apart from the Porsche sports car brand, the brands of the Volkswagen Group make up the brand portfolio of the company. 

The retail activities are an important part of the business due to the well-developed dealer network and high standards in the sales and after sales processes. 

For the fiscal year 2013 the Porsche Holding Salzburg has sold 591,822 vehicles and achieved an overall revenue of 16.2 billion Euros.

The company operates all over Europe and China. It is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria and employed around 31,846 people in 2013.

Porsche Albania, situated at Tirane-Durres Highway Km. 7, has entered the Albanian market in 2005 with a clear vision of bringing the experience of Porsche Holding in the fields of communication, sales and after sales in order that the Albanian customer could benefit from the experience of one of the largest automobile groups in Europe. 

At start up in the first year of business the company introduced two brands: Audi and SEAT. It took only one year to introduce the third brand ŠKODA in Albania. Three brands and more that 42 models have been bought to serve the needs and preferences of the Albanian customers. January 2008 Porsche Albania enlarged again its brand portfolio with the retail contract for VW Commercial Vehicles. September 2012 marked the entrance of another brand in the company brand portfolio. VW Passenger Cars are now an integral part of the company brand offering. 

 

Translating the benefits of an experienced European automobile group for the Albanian customer is more than a 'slogan' for Porsche Albania. Every aspect of the business is consumer oriented. Logistics is one example, shorter lead times for delivering the vehicles are possible thanks to joint logistic of Porsche Albania and other Porsche sister companies. 

 

Porsche Albania Service

The service department's dedication to customer service has consistently set new level of achievements. Two years of warranty for all vehicles without km restrictions, two years of warranty for all the parts replaced, the possibility to benefit from the warranty condition everywhere in Europe, additional 2 warranty for specific brands on request,  vehicle checks from specialist from the factories, continuous training at the factories for the Albanian mechanics, a direct network connection with the factory servers for computer diagnostic and original spare parts are direct benefits for the company clients in terms of after sales.     

 

Focused on the demand of our customer, Porsche Albania continues to innovate and establish new standards. It has increased the service capacities and another enlargement is scheduled.  

 

Porsche Albania's body and paint shop enjoys a good reputation on the Albanian market. Currently the possibilities of introducing a second shift are analysed in order to cope with the continuous growing demand. 

The strong commitment of the employees and their continuous training by experienced specialists are the company's best assets in the field of sales and after sales. 

 

Porsche Albania General Management

Porsche's global management strategy for general management is to bringing together international experience and local market knowledge are through a team of two managers acting jointly. 

Following the maxim of its mother company the Austrian Porsche Holding Group "Motion is our success" Porsche Albania is planning to keep and further expand its market share in the Albanian market.
