The new Tiguan starts its new life with two awards for the elegant design and the for being the best Four wheel car in the SUV category.
Readers of Auto Bild Allrad, Europe's largest magazine for off-road vehicles, selected the new Tiguan as "All-wheel Car of the Year". The successful compact SUV from Volkswagen received the award in the category "Off-road vehicle and SUV up to 30,000 Euro". Since its market launch in 2007, the Tiguan has now won the coveted title of "All-wheel Car of the Year" for the fifth time.
The second award for Tiguan is the "Design Trophy 2016". Every year the German special interest magazine Auto Zeitung presents this award to honor the most successful new automobile developments. The new Tiguan prevailed against 14 competitors in the "SUV" category. The new Tiguan impresses with its completely new and elegant design that radiates power and authority.
