Porsche Albania sh.p.k. is the official importer and exclusive retailer of Skoda, SEAT, VW PKW and Audi in Albania and retailer for Volkswagen Commercial Cars. For further development of our business in Tirana we are searching for a new team member.

Therefore, we're looking for highly qualified and motivated candidates for the position of:Duties and responsibilities

·         Network and Server Administration: Provide comprehensive support, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades for company networks and in-house servers.

·         Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and associated applications.

·         Log Monitoring and Backup: Monitor server activity logs and ensure daily backups are performed and verified.

·         System Performance Monitoring: Oversee computer systems to enhance network performance and optimize the efficiency of computer systems and networks.

·         Networking Equipment Management: Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and access points.

·         Network Security: Implement and enforce network security measures to safeguard network integrity and connectivity.

·         Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze network performance metrics such as availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency.

·         Network Protocols and Standards: Analyze and support network devices, protocols, services, and standards to ensure effective network operations.

·         User Account Administration: Manage end-user accounts, including authentication and permission rights.

·         Software and Hardware Installation: Install software and other hardware components to meet the organization's network requirements.

·         Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve problems reported by end users promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

·         Comprehensive Network Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various network types and network configuration practices.

·         Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in network and system administration roles.

·         Best Practices Expertise: Extensive knowledge of best practices for the management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.

·         VMware Proficiency: Operational experience with VMware virtualization technologies.

·         Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including roles and permissions management.

·         Windows Server and Active Directory: Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory management.

·         Backup and Recovery: Acquaintance with backup and recovery software, as well as associated methodologies.

·         Network Security Understanding: Knowledgeable about network security components such as firewalls, access controls, and VPNs.

·         Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Skilled in troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on servers, computers, and peripheral equipment.

·         Project Management: Ability to manage and resolve issues across multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Task Organization: Capable of organizing and prioritizing tasks based on their severity.

·         Software Familiarity: Well-versed in a range of networking and personal computer software.

Qualifications and skills:

·         Support for Windows Systems: Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting Windows-based systems, networks, and software.

·         User Software Expertise: Proficient in the use and support of various user software applications.

·         Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking abilities for problem-solving and decision-making.

·         Time Management: Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

·         Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.

·         Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in German is an advantage.

·         Educational Background: University degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

·         Professionalism and Motivation: Demonstrates professionalism and self-motivation in all tasks and responsibilities.
